Carroll W. Hall, Jr., 93, longtime resident of Amherst, NH, died on November 6, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH.
He was born in Nashua on April 22, 1932, a son of Carroll W. and Yvonne (Caron) Hall. He moved to Amherst in 1992, next to their daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Joseph McFarland where they resided and were taken care of in their last remaining years.
Mr. Hall owned and operated Custom Built Utility Houses for over 35 years on Rt. 101A, Amherst. NH. He retired at 81 years old from the bakery at Wal-Mart.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 72 years, Cecile L. (Parent) Hall; and their son, Douglas Hall; siblings Bobbie Hall and Joan Hall, and Tommy Hall.
Family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Joseph McFarland of Amherst, NH, grandchild, Brian and Brigitta McFarland, great grandchild, Attila Trevor, grandchild, Trevor and Amanda McFarland, two great grandchildren, Adrian Frances and Paul Douglas; a sister, Terry-Mary Derugeris; a brother Norman Hall and wife Anne Hall; and a sister-in-law, Donna Hall.
Daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Steven Douglas of Lyndeborough, NH; grandchild, Jeffrey Douglas and partner Charlotte, grandchild, Jonathan Douglas; and two great grandchildren, Owen and Sierra; nieces and nephews. Special friends, Mel and Fred Lawrence of Mont Vernon, NH.
Funeral services are private. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
