Brendan Morrisroe

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brendan Morrisroe, devoted husband, cherished father, adored grandfather, on June 21, 2025.

Brendan was the loving husband of Leta, a devoted father to Lara and her husband, Doug Gilman, and a proud grandfather to Kiera Rose. He was also a beloved brother to Thomas (the late Maureen) and to his sister Rosaleen (Paddy) Conlon. Brendan was preceded in death by his parents, Molly and Patrick, his sister Frances (Peter) Phillips, and his brothers Anthony (Kay) and John (Pat).

He dedicated over four decades to designing spaces that brought people together. His passion was evident in the hotels, hospitals, and community centers that grace our cities-each a testament to his vision and commitment to excellence.

Beyond his professional achievements, Brendan was a man of warmth, integrity, and humor. He found joy in family gatherings, spending time in the garden, and sharing stories from his travels. He was always ready with a listening ear and wise advice, inspiring those around him with his guidance and unwavering support.

Brendan’s legacy of kindness, creativity, and integrity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A private service will be held for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hebrew SeniorLife Hospice Care in Brendan’s memory.
