Barbara Ann Rossi

Barbara A. Rossi, 78, resident of Exeter, NH, died November 11, 2008 at Langdon Place, Exeter, NH.� She was born in Manchester, NH on December 4, 1929, a daughter of the late John & Catherine (ONeil) Cronin.� Mrs. Rossi was raised and educated in Manchester, NH.� She graduated from Manchester West High School and attended Boston University.� Prior to moving to Exeter, she resided in North Chatham, MA for a short time and Milford, NH for most of her life.�She was avid reader and enjoyed taking long walks.� A loving mother and devoted grandmother, she cherished time spent with her family.� She was a communicant of St. Patricks Church, Milford.� Mrs. Rossi was predeceased by her husband, Ernest F. Rossi, a daughter, Colleen A. Desjardins, and a brother, John Cronin.� Family members include three daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie-Jo Rossi & Joseph Cuetara of Boston, MA, Heather & Frank Smith of Portland, ME, Robin & Terry Gibbs of Marion, MA; a granddaughter, Oriana Smith of Portland, ME; three sisters, Mary Head of Rye, NH, Helen Coch of Concord, NH, Irene Cronin of Manchester, NH; many nieces and nephews.� There are no calling hours.� A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 15th at 1:00 pm in St. Patricks Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH.� Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford.� Donations in her memory may be made to Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH� 03833.�
