Arthur R. Bent

Arthur R. Bent, 78, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died November 19, 2011 at Crestwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Milford. He was born in Wilton, NH on August 27, 1933, a son of Arthur F. Bent and Leona (Hartshorn) Bent. Mr. Bent was employed as a machinist for Hy-Ten Corporation, Milford for more than 20 years. He had coached Little League and Babe Ruth in Milford, was an active member and former president of the MCAA. Mr. Bent was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a member of Ricciardi Hartshorn Post #23, American Legion and Harley Sanford Post #4368, VFW, Milford. He was predeceased by his wife, Vella Bent. Family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Chad Villacorta of Milford, NH; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Pamela Bent, Raymond and Sandy Bent, all of Mont Vernon, NH; and seven grandchildren.
