Anne-Marie E. Tucker

Anne-Marie E. Tucker, 85, longtime resident of Merrimack, NH, died on September 21, 2018 at Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH, where she devoted her life to caring for and helping people as a registered nurse. She was born March 12, 1933 in Milford, NH, a daughter of Joseph and Effie (Karnis) Tucker. Anne-Marie was raised and educated in Milford. She graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1951 and earned her diploma in Nursing from the Elliot Hospital School of Nursing in 1954. She was employed as a registered nurse at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH for over 35 years. Anne-Marie was active in the Puritan-Charity -Themis-Atlantic Chapter #29 Order of Eastern Star and was a member for sixty-six years. She was also very active in the Elliot Hospital Alumni Association. She was also very proud of her Finish heritage. She was predeceased by her sister, Laila Todd. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Erick and Nancy Tucker of Ball Ground, GA; a sister, Elizabeth Paige of Fairfield, CT; two nieces, Kimberly Litman and her husband Joseph of Derry, NH, and Senja Stubbs of Milton, GA; two nephews, Kenneth Todd and his wife Lisa of Weare, NH, Erick Tucker Jr. and his wife Dani of Keller, TX; her brother-in-law Clayton Todd and his wife Dorothy Todd of Amherst, NH; several grandnieces and grandnephews. Memorial visiting hours are on Saturday September 29, 2018 from 9:00-11:00 am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. An Eastern Star Service will be held from 9:30-9:45. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, please give to Gideons International or a charity of your choice.
