Ann K. Blanchette

Ann K. Blanchette, 87, resident of Keene, NH, died January 31, 2008 at Keene Center Genesis Eldercare. � She was born in Nashua, NH on September 27, 1920, a daughter of the late Julian & Anna (Ternapovitch) Cherkes. � Mrs. Blanchette lived in Keene for the past 6 years and formerly resided in Milford for more than 50 years. � She had been employed by Sprague Electric, Nashua, NH for several years and retired from Kinzee Wood Products, Milford in 1985. � While living in Milford, Mrs. Blanchette was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Milford. � She was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother. � Mrs. Blanchette was predeceased by her husband, Roland J. Blanchette, who died in 2001; two sisters, Anna Vassar and Stacia Marcucci; two brothers, Julian Cherkes and Eugene Cherkes. � Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Donald R. & Paula A. Blanchette of Amherst, NH; three grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Troy and Kyle Blanchette of Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Janice Turmel and Lillian Cherkes, both of Hudson, NH; several nieces and nephews. � A visiting hour will be held on Monday, February 4th from 9:00-10:00 am�in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.�Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am in the funeral home.�Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford.�Donations in her memory may be made to Beacon Hospice, 391 West Street, 2nd Floor, Keene, NH�03431.��
