Alfred J. Prudhomme, 89, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died on November 11, 2023 at his home.
He was born on August 7, 1934 in Lowell, MA, the son of Japhet and Bertha (Prive) Prudhomme.
Alfred was a US Navy veteran, having served aboard the USS Beatty before he was honorably discharged in 1955.
He had previously been employed at Sweetheart Plastics, where he worked as a machinist for over twenty years.
He loved bowling, watching sports, traveling and doing Crossword and Sudoku puzzles.
He is survived by his brothers, Joe Prudhomme and his wife Esther of Lowell and Paul Prudhomme and his wife Debbie of Dracut and his sisters, Sister Irene Prudhomme, SASV of Lowell, Julie Comtois of Myrtle Beach, SC and Laura Brodeur and her husband Louis of Milford, NH and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime friends and roommates, Bruce Maynard and Frank Delisle.
He was preceded in death by his longtime companion Elizabeth “Betty” Sarantiakas.
He was also the brother of the late George Prudhomme, Raymond Prudhomme, Robert Prudhomme, Theresa Keough, Alice Abreu, Doris Norwood and Hector Prudhomme.
It being his wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Alfred’s memory to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054.
