Stuart R. Santelmann, LICSW, 53, resident of Milford, NH, died May 2, 2008 at the Milford Medical Center, Milford, NH.� He was born in Boston, MA on December 24, 1954, a son of William F. Santelmann, Jr. and Jean (Hunter) Santelmann.� Mr. Santelmann was raised and educated in Lexington, MA.� He graduated from Lexington High School, Class of 1972 and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Atmospheric Science from Cornell University and his Masters in Social Work from Boston University.� He resided in Milford for the past 20 years.� Mr. Santelmann was currently the Director of Outpatient Services at St. Anns Home, a residential treatment center for emotionally disturbed children and outpatient mental health clinic.� He was a member of The Lexington United Methodist Church, Lexington, MA, the National Association of Social Workers and a member of the Board of Directors of the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association.� In addition, he was an amateur radio operator, call sign KC1F, and past president of Yankee Clipper Contest Club.� Mr. Santelmann was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan; he enjoyed hiking, bicycling and was a Life Scout.�� � Most importantly, he will be remembered for his devotion to his family.� In addition to his parents of Peabody, MA, family members include his wife of 23 years, Leslie E. Minassian Santelmann of Milford, NH; a son, Corey P. Santelmann and a daughter, Emma L. Santelmann, both of Milford, NH; two sisters, Elaine Santelmann of Littleton, MA, Elizabeth S. Ziegler and her husband, John of Hartland, VT; a brother, W. Scott Santelmann of Provincetown, MA; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack & Sema E. Minassian of Hollis, NH; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.� Memorial visiting hours are Wednesday, May 7th from 5-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9th at 11:00 am in the Lexington United Methodist Church, 2600 Mass Avenue, Lexington, MA.� In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Anns Home, 100A Haverhill Street, Methuen, MA� 01844 or to The Jimmy Fund, c/o Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA� 02445-7226, Attn: Contribution Services.�
