Sharon R. Anderson

Sharon R. Anderson, 74, resident of Milford, NH died on June 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Newport, NH on July 31, 1941, a daughter of George Perry, Sr. and Eunice (Wright) Perry. She made her home in Milford for the past four years and formerly lived in Amherst, NH for many years. Mrs. Anderson had been employed as an administrative assistant for Kollsman Instruments, Merrimack, NH for more than 15 years. She enjoyed crafts, playing bingo, baking, letter boxing and visiting diners. In addition, she liked to camp at Forest Lake Campground in Winchester, NH. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Harley Sanford Post #4368 VFW Auxiliary, Milford. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard W. Anderson. Family members include four children, Michael W. Anderson, Thomas J. Anderson and his fiancé, Marcella McDermott, Tara R. Anderson, all of Milford, and Wendy L. Anderson of Melbourne, FL; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a brother, George Perry, Jr. of Nashua, NH; several nieces and nephews. There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 15th at 10:00 a.m. in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Immediately following the memorial service, a gathering to celebrate her life will take place at 26 Melendy Road #99, Milford, and all are welcome to join the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Monadnock Community Hospital, Oncology Unit, 452 Old Street Road, Peterborough, NH 03458, Attn: Dr. Larman.
