Sean W. Lorette, 42, of Brookline, NH, left this world on Sunday, October 1st. His earthly journey began on November 29th, 1974, when he was born in Nashua to parents Donata (Trombly) and Wilfred Lorette. He is survived by his two children, Lucien and Lucy Lorette, the bright lights of his world. They inspired him and he loved them enormously. Sean was known for his outrageous stories, mischievous manner, Elvis Presley karaoke performances, and his large and open heart. Although French Canadian by heritage, he fostered the impression that he was Sicilian and, unsurprisingly, the Sopranos was his favorite show of all-time. An attention seeker from the start, he relished retellings of his brush with fame as a toddler while walking downtown Milford with his Mom. Farrah Fawcett, in the area to visit her sister, approached them and said that Sean was the most adorable child she had ever seen. His lifelong dream was to be a Shriner, wear a fez, and drive the mini cars and trucks in parades. He loved Johnny Cash and Elvis, conspiracy theories, documentaries, football, the ocean, and cooking. He was a superb cook and really enjoyed the process as well as the satisfaction of those he fed. Sean was a deeply devoted father, son, brother, and friend. He was unfailingly loyal to those he loved. He was a protector and a confidante and the guy who made you laugh out loud. He was impressively unafraid to look goofy if it brought someone joy. Known as Uncle Seany to his nieces and nephews, he will be profoundly missed by Jolie Gonthier, Lilianna and Angelo Lorette, and Shania, Cameron, Dominic and Elaina Cestarich. He is also survived and cherished by his sister, Melissa Deschenes and his brothers, Jesse Lorette and Joseph Cestarich, aunts and uncles, numerous dear friends, and his faithful dog Rocky. Please remember him for his spirit, humor, and heart, not for his challenges. He lives on through his beloved children and in the memories of every person he touched. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 10th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. This will be a celebration of Sean’s life. Please share your favorite stories with family and friends. A Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations to assist the family with burial expenses may be made to a GoFundMe account. Please see link below under Memorial Contributions.
