Sandra E. Wilson

Sandra Elaine Rohrbach Wilson, 73 of Milford, NH, entered into God’s Kingdom on Saturday, January 28, 2023.

Sandy, born on September 22, 1949 to Ada and Merrill Rohrbach, Jr. in Reading, Pennsylvania immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Sandy went on to graduate from Reading High School, in Reading, Pennsylvania, as an honor student. After graduating from high school, she went on to work at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Washington, DC as a secretary. She continued to work within the federal government in the CIA and Drug Enforcement Agency stationed with her husband in Monrovia, Liberia; Tokyo, Japan; and Myanmar. Later Sandy worked for the City of Manassas, Virginia as a Boards and Commissions Clerk. Of all her occupations, Sandy’s favorite job was as a Travel Counselor for AAA of Virginia. Sandy loved to travel and it gave her immense pleasure to help others plan successful and fun vacations. Sandy retired from AAA in 2004.

In 1974, Sandy met David Wilson, then in the Navy, and the two were inseparable from that point on. Sandy and Dave were married for 48.5 years and have one daughter, Melissa.

Sandy was a fiercely dedicated mom to her daughter raising her to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Sandy, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by Sandy’s absence is impossible to fill.

Sandy had amazing talents in crafts, art, photography, quilting, and cross-stitch. She was also an accomplished musician, playing the organ in churches for over 30 years in Monrovia, Liberia and Virginia. Sandy was also a clarinetist, playing in the Fredericksburg Community Band in Fredericksburg, Virginia and the Amherst Town Band in Amherst, New Hampshire.

Sandy joins in heaven, her mother, Ada Aulenbach Rohrbach and her father, Merrill Rohrbach, Jr. Sandy is survived by her husband, David (Milford, NH); daughter, Dr. Melissa Wilson (Milford, NH); and brother, Dale Rohrbach (Wilton, NH).

Sandy loved flowers so feel free to send them. If you prefer, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, American Heart Association, or Manchester New Hampshire Animal Shelter.
