Ronald Merton Brown, 47, lifelong resident of Mont Vernon, NH died unexpectedly on May 31, 2014 surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua. He was born in Nashua on May 19, 1967, a son of Dorothy A. (Lorette) Brown of Mont Vernon and the late Merton R. Brown. Ron had been employed as a carpenter for Restore-It LLC, Amherst, NH for several years. He had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed fishing and was an avid wrestling and sports fan. He loved his family and friends and his sons were the light of his life. In addition to his mother, family members include three sons, Zachary Gawthorp and Jacob Gawthorp, both of Merrimack, NH and Zeth Brown of Haverhill, MA; six sisters, Gina Bent of Brookline, NH, Susan Lesmerises and Gay Fleming, both of Hinsdale, NH, Lorie Clark of Brookline, VT, Dawn Robinson of Marlboro, VT and Tammy Savoy of Milford, NH; five brothers, Allan Brown of Sharon, NH, Raymond Brown of Amherst, NH, Joseph Brown of Fitchburg, MA, Frank Calderara of Wilton, Lyndeborough NH and James Calderara of GA; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, June 4th from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am in South Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Lyndeborough, NH.
