Michael H. Ploss, 52, resident of Milford, NH, and beloved husband of Kerry (Crooker) Ploss, died on September 7, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH. He was born in Manchester, NH on February 2, 1964, the only child and son of Rodney and Barbara-Diane (Payne) Ploss. Michael was raised and educated in Manchester and graduated from West High School, Class of 1982. Michael spent his career in the restaurant business, having worked for the Weathervane and Chili’s Restaurant. In addition he operated the Norris Cotton Café, located in the Norris Cotton Federal Building, Manchester, NH. He had a work ethic like no other, and strived to provide the best service possible. He was an avid sports fan and loved all the New England teams, particularly the New England Patriots and Bruins. He so enjoyed attending the Bruins home games. He most especially loved spending time with his family, including his eleven-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Guinness. They were often seen together as Michael rode in his wheelchair with Guinness trotting at his side. Michael was predeceased by both of his parents, his mother-in-law, Noreen Crooker; and a brother-in-law, Sean Crooker. Family members include his adoring wife with whom he would have celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary on October 3rd, Kerry (Crooker) Ploss of Milford, NH;; sister-in-law, Erin Turner and her significant other, Dave Parker of Milford, NH; brother-in-law, Kevin Crooker of Hudson, NH; five nieces, Caitlyn Hauser, Erika Hauser, Noel Crooker, Kianna Crooker, Rhiannon Turner and a nephew, Ryan Crooker and his father-in-law, Walter Crooker of Nashua, NH, Uncle Thomas Payne and his wife Julie of Manchester, NH Aunt Sharron Grzywacz of Manchester, NH and Judith Smagula of Auburn, NH, and many cousins. There are no calling hours. A celebration of his life will be held in the Community Room at Granite Square, 161 Bridge Street, Milford, on Saturday, October 15th at 1:00 pm, for dear friends and family.
