Michael E. Laramie, 67 of Milford, NH died May 24th, 2011 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Lucy (Delude) Laramie. He was born on August 18th, 1943 in Lebanon, NH, the son of the late Philip Laramie and Marjorie (Fligg/Laramie) Bachand. Michael graduated from Lebanon High School in 1961 and also attended NH College in Manchester. He was very athletic and played high school football and baseball and also played in the American Legion League. He was also an avid golfer prior to his illness. Michael was the owner of Dominion Mortgage Corporation in Tyngsborough, MA and had previously worked for Mortgages Unlimited, Bank of NH, Finance America (where he met his wife), and Avco Finance. Among his interests was watching golf, the Red Sox and the Celtics. He enjoyed observing birds and wildlife and spent the past 8 years studying the Bible which gave him great comfort. In his life he leaves his devoted wife of 33 years, Lucy Laramie of Milford, NH, his step-father, Gerard (Chub) Bachand of Eads, Colorado who was a very important part of his life, a sister, Melissa Peterson of Eads, Colorado, a daughter, DeAnna Farnham of Fairfax, Vermont, a son, Michael G. Laramie of Tucson, Arizona, and several nieces, nephews, grand-children and great grand-children. He was predeceased by his father, Philip Laramie, mother, Marjorie (Fligg) Bachand, and two brothers, Spencer and Gary Laramie. At his request there were no calling hours or services.
