Loy A. Lamb, 71, resident of Temple, NH, beloved husband and father, went home to be with Jesus on May 5, 2008.� He was born in Topsham, VT on February 24, 1937, a son of the late Rowland & Mina L. (White) Lamb.� Loy had been a resident of Temple for the past 8 years and formerly resided in Milford for 30 years and Wallingford, CT for several years.� He was self employed as an electrician for many years.� Loy was a volunteer fireman for the Milford Fire Department and in his earlier years, had worked as a part-time police officer.� He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.� Loy was a member of the Calvary Christian Center East in Merrimack, NH.� He was predeceased by a son, Mark D. Lamb.� Family members include his wife with whom he would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on May 30th, Anne (Gindel) Lamb of Temple, NH; a daughter, Bethanne Lamb of Portsmouth, RI; a brother and sister-in-law, Bernard & Cynthia Lamb of Yarmouth Port, MA; a sister and brother-in-law, Janice & Clement Gibeault of Roselle Park, NJ; several nieces and nephews.� There are no visiting hours.� A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9th at 11:00 am in the First Baptist Church, 65 West Street, Milford, NH.� In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Calvary Christian Center East, 297 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH� 03054 or the Milford Firemens Relief Association, 39 School Street, Milford, NH� 03055.
