Linda Charmaine (Pauselius) Dobbins, 60, lost her battle with ovarian cancer on May 26, 2015. She was born on December 7, 1954 in Java, Indonesia. She was the oldest of six kids born to Louis Pauselius and the late Kitty Pauselius. She married the love of her life and devoted husband of 40 wonderful years, Michael Dobbins. Together they raised three children, Wendy (Dobbins) Plehn, Heather Dobbins, and Jason Dobbins. Linda’s passion in life was working with children. She thoroughly enjoyed spreading her ‘magic’ with her grandchildren and the scouts in her Girl Scout troops. She enjoyed watching their eyes light up in wonderment with her many fairy trail parties, Halloween trail parties, and tea parties. She had a great impact on all of the children’s lives she touched. Linda also loved to garden and being part of the Milford and Amherst Garden Clubs. She worked tirelessly in her own gardens as many days of the year as she could. She made many friends in the garden clubs and enjoyed going on the many garden tours and adventures throughout New England with them. Linda and Mike were fortunate enough to have traveled a lot in their years together. Her favorite places to go to relax were Ogunquit, Maine and Sanibel Island, Florida. Linda started working as a secretary at Singer Business Machines in California. Once she had children she became a dedicated mother and homemaker. As her children grew, she realized her passion for volunteerism and threw her time and energy into the following organizations: Girl Scout leader in various places she lived from the 1980’s to present, Milford Garden Club (former President), FISH volunteer, SHARE volunteer, Souhegan Valley Boys and Girls Club, and helping her good friend Cathy Meaney with her business, All Star Driving School. In addition to her father, Louis Pauselius, and beloved husband, Michael Dobbins, she leaves behind her daughter Wendy (Dobbins) Plehn and husband, Mitch Plehn; her daughter, Heather Dobbins; her son, Jason Dobbins and wife, Tina Gagnon. Grandchildren: Angee (Gadola) Luker and husband, David Luker, Ryan Gadola, Christiana Moya, Miguel Moya, Jaida Silamba, Avery Smith, and Hadley Smith. Great-Grandchildren: Mikayla Luker and Kyle Luker. Her siblings, Werner Pauselius and wife Anne, Frank Pauselius and wife Kim, Mike Pauselius and wife Laurie, Ingrid Pauselius, and Iris Pauselius. Nieces and nephews: Keven Pauselius, Nicole Pauselius, Josh Pauselius, Holly Pauselius, Joseph Pauselius, and Derek Pauselius. She also leaves behind many, many friends who were with her with her throughout the moments of her life, including the rough times in the last two years. Instead of mourning her life, she would like everyone to ‘pay it forward’ by volunteering with the future of our world, our children, or by beautifying our neighborhoods.
