Lemonitra K. Finning

Lemonitra K. Finning, 90, resident of Milford, NH, died March 19, 2008 at Harborside Healthcare Center-Crestwood, Milford.� She was born in Manchester, NH on November 2, 1917, a daughter of the late Apostoles & Oraina (Plakas) Kiritsis.� Raised and educated in Manchester, NH, Mrs. Finning had lived in Weare, NH and Memphis, TN for many years and more recently resided in Milford.� She had been employed by WFEA in Manchester, NH, the Cheshire County Savings Bank in Keene, NH, and as a dorm mother at Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT.� Mrs. Finning was a member of the Quilters Guild, Catholic Daughters of America, and the Christian Womens Alliance.� She was an avid quilter and enjoyed handcrafts, braiding rugs and cooking.� While living in NH, she was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church, Goffstown, NH.� She was predeceased by her husbands, Samuel Bakus, Walter Murtagh, Frank Finning; and a sister, Aspacia Mitten.� Family members include a son, William S. Bakus of Wolcott, VT; two daughters, Ann L. Hunt of Henniker, NH and Elizabeth Murtagh Breen of St. Albans VT; 7 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; a brother, Charles Kiritsis of Manchester, NH; four sisters, Virginia Fuller and Christina Kokolis, both of Manchester, NH, Irene Dedascalou of Indian Rocks Beach, FL and Anna Hensley of Delaware; many nieces and nephews.� Funeral services will be private.� In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimers Association, One Bedford Farms Drive, Suite 105, Bedford, NH� 03110.
