Hector J. Racicot

Hector J. Racicot, 86, resident of Milford, NH, died June 21, 2012 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. He was born in Knowlton, Quebec on June 7, 1926, a son of Azarire and Emilda (Patenaude) Racicot. Mr. Racicot made his home in Milford for the past 59 years and had been employed by O.K. Tool Company in Milford for 17 years. He enjoyed volunteering for the Senior Citizens Group in Milford. He was predeceased by his wife, Catherine V. (Bell) Racicot, who died in 2001 and a sister, Rita Flood. Family members include eight step-children, Mary Jane Whitehouse of Rochester, NH, Larraine F. Salisbury, Raymond E. Heath, Jr. and William H. Heath, all of Milford, Julie A. Pond of Somersworth, NH, Martha L. Ritter of Shelton, WA, Nancy C. Torbitt of Pittsburg, PA and Donald L. Heath Thatcher of Old Orchard Beach, ME; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Liberty of Nashua; three brothers, Lionel Racicot of Franklin, NH, Norman Racicot and John Racicot, both of Milford; many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are on Sunday, June 24th from 4:00-6:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Joseph Home and Hospice Care, 24 North River Road, Milford, NH 03055.
