Frances A. Woodruff

Frances A. Woodruff, 82, resident of Milford, NH, died April 27, 2008 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH.� She was born in Findlay, Ohio on May 24, 1925, a daughter of the late Ivan & Dora Couples.� Mrs. Woodruff was raised and educated in Findlay where she had lived for most of her life.� For the past 10 years, she made her home with her daughter and son-in-law in Milford, NH.� While living in Ohio, Mrs. Woodruff was employed by Findlay Industries.In addition, she was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church.� She enjoyed swimming, crocheting, crafts and crossword puzzles.� She was predeceased by her husband, Bob Woodruff.� Family members include two daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda L. & William Wilson of Milford, NH, Linda S. Smith of Newark, OH; three grandchildren, Chad Oman, Mark Smith and Bryan Smith; four great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and her devoted canine companion, Beethoven.� Memorial visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 1st�from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimers Association, New Hampshire Office, One Bedford Farms Drive, Suite 105, Bedford, NH� 03110 or Home Health & Hospice Care, Community Hospice House, Attn: Development, 22 Prospect Street, Nashua, NH� 03060.
