Curt Jensen, 51, resident of Brookline, NH, died suddenly on November 20, 2013 at his home. He was born in Nashua, NH on September 1, 1962, a son of Ross Jensen of Brookline, NH and Doris (McCormack) McDonald of Ellenton, FL. Curt was a lifelong resident of Brookline and graduated from Hollis Area High School, Class of 1980. He worked in the plumbing and heating industry for most of his life and was currently the store manager at Wetherbee Plumbing and Heating in Milford, whom he had been employed by for more than 20 years. Curt enjoyed ice fishing, was an avid Boston sports team fan and loved spending time with his family, especially his children. He was devoted to his community and spent more than 30 years in fire service. A member of the Brookline Fire Department for the past 27 years, Curt had served as Chief for 3 years and the past 19 years as Deputy Assistant Chief. In his earlier years, he was a member of the Milford Volunteer Fire Department from 1984-1989 and Lieutenant of Engine 4. In addition, he was a Deputy Fire Warden for the State of New Hampshire. Curt was predeceased by a sister, Sara J. Jensen, who died in 2009. In addition to his parents, family members include his loving wife of 13 years, Jodi R. (Stevens) Jensen of Brookline; three children, Jered Clifford, Macyn Clifford and Cheyann Ellis; his stepmother, Joyce Jensen of Brookline; his stepfather, John McDonald of Ellenton, FL; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Deb Jensen of Wilton, NH, Eric and Helen Jensen of Brookline, Kris Jensen and Linda Mossey of Milford; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Jensen and Jonathan Sheehan of West Chesterfield, NH; mothers-in-law, Judith Poor of Milford and Joanne Stevens of Rochester, NH; a niece and several nephews, Krystal, Jared, Andrew, Benjamin, Bradley, Danny, Noah and Joshua; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gina and Tony Viel, Lisa and Eric Campbell, all of Rochester, NH; two godchildren, Amanda and Joel Wetherbee; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and all of his lifelong friends. Visiting hours are on Monday, November 25th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am in the Brookline Community Church, 2 Main Street, Brookline. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brookline. A celebration of Curt’s life will be held at the Brookline Event Center, Route 130, Brookline, following the burial.
