It is with great sorrow that the family of Cheryl Dadah announces her passing on Saturday, November 30, 2019. Cheryl Lynn Fagerquist was born on May 22, 1948 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Bernard and Inez Fagerquist. Cheri grew up in Portsmouth but spent summers in Wolfeboro, NH with her family. Her time at Lake Wentworth brought her joy throughout her life. Cheri raised her three children while working full time. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Daniel Webster College and then a Masters Degree from Rivier College. Furthering her education as an adult was a source of great pride for her. She started her professional career at Kollsman in Merrimack, NH and retired as a financial analyst working at Hanscom Air Force Base. Although she worked tirelessly, she always made time to be there for those she loved and cared about. Her friends and family meant the world to her and she put them before anything else. Cheri touched the hearts of many throughout her life and will be missed by all. She is survived by her three children, daughter Jolene Sawyer and her husband Tom Sawyer of Milford NH, daughter Lauri David of Cornelius, NC, and son Frank Dadah and his wife Kelley Dadah of Bedford, MA. She was loved by her grandchildren, Meg and Sarah Sawyer, Lucian David and Ella Dadah. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Dianna McCaffery of Wolfeboro, NH, Anita and Preston Shaffer of Exeter, NH, and Charles McCaffery of Merrimack, NH. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH, followed by A Celebration of Life at Hampshire Hills from 12:00- 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
