ANNE E. CUSHING � DATELINE:�WILTON, NH Anne Elizabeth Cushing, 76, died September 17, 2007 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, surrounded by her loving family. � She was born and raised in Holyoke, MA, daughter of Walter Francis Crowson and Mary E. (Coffey) Crowson and resided in Milford for 40 years, most recently in Wilton. � Mrs. Cushing will be remembered for her kind heart, keen sense of humor and her numerous artistic abilities.�She had been a member of the Keyes Art Group as an established watercolor artist; she belonged to a local rug hooking group affectionately known as the hookers.�In addition to being an avid reader, she was a passionate gardener.�While living in Milford, she raised everlasting flowers, creating wreaths and arrangements at her home, which were marketed throughout New Hampshire.�After the retirement of her husband, they shared many years traveling, with exceptional passion for the State of Montana. � She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Milford. � Mrs. Cushing was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Leonard S. Cushing and two grandsons, Christopher T. Cushing and Liam T. Philbrick. � Her loving family members include three sons, Leonard F. Cushing of Nashua, Thomas S. Cushing of New Boston and Christopher W. Cushing of Lyndeborough; four daughters, Barbara W. Walker of New Boston, Carole A. Cushing-Bennett of Milford, Christine M. Philbrick of Wilton and Karen E. Chase of Milford; 15 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; one sister, Barbara M. Mahar of Wilton; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. � Calling hours are Thursday, September 20th from 4-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford.�A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Church Street Station, P.O.
