Andrew Elwell Burnett, 19 of Mont Vernon NH. Passed away at Boston Children’s Hospital on March 18th after a lifelong battle with a rare genetic condition called Propionic Acidemia. He was born on March 18, 1998 in Manchester NH. Andrew was a student at Souhegan High School and prior to that at the Crotched Mountain School and Mont Vernon Elementary. He truly enjoyed life and his passions beside school were listening to music, enjoying time with family and pets and cycling to the town library. He had a great love for the outdoors and was an active participant in the Crotched Mountain Accessible Recreation and Sports program where he cycled, kayaked and skied throughout his life. His younger brother Jared often joined him in his any outdoor adventures with CMARS. Andrew is survived by his parents Jeff and Nicole (Barr) Burnett, brother Jared of Mont Vernon, Grandmother Hope Burnett of Peterborough NH, his Ome and Grampa Rich of Granville, Ohio and his three aunts, Candace Burnett of New York NY, Bonnie Burnett of Sharon NH and Sherry Young of Concord NH and their families. There will be a private family service for Andrew and a future announcement for a celebration of his life for his friends and extended family. We would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Boston Children’s Hospital and the many caregivers at school and home that touched Andrew’s life. He was deeply loved and an inspiration to many. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the CMARS program through the Crotched Mountain Foundation.
