Andrea J. Mannino, 81, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died on May 20, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH.
She was born in Medford, MA on June 5, 1942, a daughter of Andrew J. and Lena M. (Frye) Fulgoni. Andrea was raised and educated in Wilton, NH and graduated from Wilton High School, Class of 1960 and LeBaron Academy, Manchester, NH. She has made her home in Milford for the past 60 years.
She was a hairdresser all of her working life and owned and operated Andrea’s Hair Salon on South Street, Milford, for many years.
Andrea was a classical pianist, she enjoyed swimming, spending time at the beach, traveling to Hawaii and Europe and in her later years, found a passion for gardening.
Andrea loved being part of her community and was recognized as Business Woman of the Year in 1994, an achievement was she was very proud of and also enjoyed donating her time to the first Milford Pumpkin Festival. In addition, she was a member of the DAR. Andrea most especially loved spending time with her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Family members include her two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Mannino, and Leonard & Kimberly Mannino, all of Milford; four granddaughters, Brittanni, Cicely, Lucia, and Giulia; a brother and sister-in-law, Andrew & Beverly Fulgoni of Milford; a sister, Judith Kittridge of Bedford, NH; several nieces and nephews.
There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10:00am in the Church of Our Saviour, 10 Amherst Street, Milford, NH. Burial will be private in South Yard Cemetery, Wilton, NH.
